What’s New in Nosto: Enhance Offsite Experiences with Automated Segment Export

Nosto’s Automated Segment Export capability allows ESPs, CDPs, CRMs, and various other standard technologies to automatically export Nosto segments to use for their own purposes.

Nosto’s Segmentation capabilities give brands the freedom and visibility to create a unified view of shopper activity and predict likelihood to buy. This a core driver behind the many of the revenue-generating experiences our customers deploy.

The reality, however, is that this is only once piece of the massive ecommerce puzzle – and Nosto is but one of many other technologies a successful brand needs (and likely uses) to create a winning ecommerce experience.

Cue: The dreaded data silo.

Because each software stores its own range of data, brands that want to leverage data from one tool (like Nosto) in another tool (like an ESP) have historically relied on manual imports and exports.

To enable brands to streamline the way they manage data across their tech stack and launch more impactful experiences faster, we’re excited to announce the launch of our Automated Segment Export capability!

With Segment Export tooling, Nosto has built an endpoint for tech partners which fetches the information from Nosto in a format that can be easily pulled and used by the tech partner.

With Nosto’s new Segment Export capability, your ESP, CDP, CRM, and various other standard technologies within the ecommerce tech stack can easily enable automatic import of Nosto segments to use in their own system.

This new capability:

  • Saves time and effort for customers in building out a more singular view of shoppers across channels
  • Eliminates the data silo issue so many tech stacks suffer from
  • Powers highly relevant and performative offsite communications across shoppers’ buying journeys.
